Meet Cidella,
I am Cidella Moniz, I was born & raised on Cape Verde Island. I came to the US at the age of 11 years old and I attended middle school and high school here. While attending school I always managed to get yelled at by my teachers due to the fact that I was always doing someone’s hair in class.
How I Started Braiding
At the same time, I also grew up in the Bay Village projects. Where I was always yet again doing someone’s hair somewhere, somehow. Words got around & support came about and here I am 7 years later living to satisfy each & every single one of my Braid Babes.
Why I Braid
It’s so important to me to make sure I give all my Braid Babes exactly what they want as far as style goes. The fact that I take part in making someone feel good about themselves every day is what keeps me going. Thank you to each and every one of you that supports me.
